Bio
Chris Ott is a photographer and content producer based in Portland, Oregon. An Oregon transplant, he lives in Portland with his girlfriend Kimberlyn and their husky Kai, and spends his free time outdoors and shooting content around the city.
Chris has spent the last ten years behind the camera, building his career in gaming and esports. He started shooting events for G Fuel on weekends, then spent a year on a full-time retainer with Turtle Beach before moving to Frisco, Texas to produce content for OpTic Gaming. He went on to freelance across the gaming space and spent about two years at Astro Gaming and Logitech creating campaigns for gaming products. His esports photography earned him a finalist spot for Esports Photographer of the Year at the 2020 Esports Awards.
After moving to Portland, Chris pivoted toward product and studio photography, drawing on years of shoot experience to step into producing. He has worked with Columbia Sportswear and Straub Collaborative, shooting with brands like Columbia and adidas, and has held an array of roles including junior producer, content producer, digital tech, and photographer. He continues to freelance with studios and brands around Portland.
